Challenges to tackle together

2023 was a year with many hypes, new developments and innovations. We’re constantly looking forward. However, focusing on innovation and new things has a downside too – less focus on the current day issues and what’s already there. In Summa recognizes that legacy tools and the loyal users for many years should not be forgotten. One of the experts we asked mentioned: “(G)UI’s should be enhanced with the end-user in mind”.

This is why we still like to organize workshops and user-feedback sessions. Connecting product users with product development teams is a win-win for both. In 2023 we celebrated Digimat’s 20th birthday with the Benelux-users at Brainport Industries Campus in Eindhoven with cake and conversations.
Yet another successful Design & Engineering Day at the end of the year, with fantastic presentations of Hexagon representatives, In Summa team members, and customers – BPO, NXP and Tata Steel Netherlands!

Our loyal group of dedicated Marc-users had once again an in-depth session on the new features and roadmap of the product. As always it resulted in advanced technical discussions. This perfectly showcases how knowledgable and skilled our users here in Benelux are.

And of course Noël Bijl, Technical Manager at In Summa, and his team of technical consultants helped out (upcoming) users all over Benelux with many other trainings, workshops, lectures, support questions, expert advice, etc. etc.

In general, we recognized at many companies there is a need for extra engineering resources. Which is why we’re more than happy to support with projects and services as well. In 2023 we once again helped out various Student Teams and gave lectures, participated in European-projects, and helped customers with their specific cases.

For 2024, we don’t see the demand for services stop anytime soon. This is why we will continue to invest in the expertise of our team members. We will continue to help education and students level-up. And our engineers will as always be on stand-by for support. If you need an extra pair of skilled hands, or rather brains that know about all the buttons, don’t hesitate to reach out.
